Competition of urban projects “New Bishkek”

Why is the project important?
New Bishkek is a unique project that allows citizens and guests of the capital to get involved in the life of the city, determine development priorities and realize their ideas in Bishkek. A distinctive feature of the competition is that a lot of young people have submitted their applications, which indicates their interest in the development of our capital and state. Young people have brilliant and practical ideas on how to implement all this.

- Number of supported initiatives: 3 projects “The Birth of Thought” - Public art direction, art installation in the steampunk style, author - Dmitry Filyov - installed near the Asia Mall
- KCAR - digital exhibition, author Isa Zhanbolot uulu direction IT solution
- “Supersurface” - the direction of “Public Spaces”, by Kamila Yusupova.

The aim of the project was to transform the daily urban space of Bishkek, to make it more interesting and diverse for citizens and guests, to demonstrate the principles of sustainable development, environmental responsibility, environmental conservation, economic feasibility, a creative approach to solving socially, using the architectural embodiment, cultural component, digital technologies -oriented and environmental objectives.

Project Duration:
The project was launched in April 2018 and completed at the end of 2019.
