Youth leaders of change

Why is the project important?

Based on the analysis of the situation provided in the tender announcement, the project will work to increase the potential of the youth of the community through a series of educational trainings and motivational meetings, as well as to transfer a set of methods of working with youth and children, which will ensure the sustainability of the project. Since one of the main problems is the lack of places and technologies for organizing high-quality, level-up leisure activities for children and adolescents from 12 to 18 years old, the project proposes to activate the existing club or school site to engage children and youth in the social life of their village and to develop personal and life skills . It is no secret that after leaving school, young people are lost, cannot self-determination, do not have critical thinking, which results in the wrong choice of educational institution, profession, or even worse, fall under different influences of destructive movements or groups. Recently, there has been an intergenerational gap between parents and children, and distrust and misunderstanding are growing. Previously adopted methods of education do not work, and children and adolescents move away from their parents, go into themselves, suicidal ideas appear. Along with frivolous problems, young people are forming social nigelism and a lack of civic responsibility. Most adolescents and young people do not possess life skills and do not understand their role and significance for the state and country. Based on this, as a result, this leads to the fact that the ranks of the indifferent, illiterate, unprepared for life and work of the generation are replenished. The most effective method of solving the problem is to build a systematic work with children and young people in the field.

The aim of the project is to develop the personal and life skills of adolescents from 12 to 18 years old in the village of Leninskoye and Uzun-Kir, through strengthening methods of working with children and youth.
