Expanding the economic opportunities of youth for peaceful development.

Why is the project important?

A return fund is an opportunity for youth.

The fund was established to:

• Promoting youth empowerment
• Promotion of local labor wounds by expanding employment opportunities, personal growth;
• Providing feasible assistance to young entrepreneurs by promoting young entrepreneurs and their enterprises, as well as supporting existing small enterprises.
• Increased access to financing mechanisms and financial services to increase the viability and sustainability of enterprises.

The fund provides financing for projects that, in addition to commercial benefits for owners, have a positive effect for society as a whole, such as: creating additional jobs for young people and vulnerable groups of the population, increasing tax deductions, focusing on export or import substitution, increasing industrial production , and also have a positive effect on the development of local communities.

The right to become an applicant for financial support from the Fund’s funds is granted to individuals or legal entities that simultaneously meet the following characteristics and criteria:

• The initiator and / or director of the enterprise is a representative of youth (aged 18 to 35 years), or 80% of the employees of the enterprise are young people;
• A youth enterprise or business is officially registered or intends to officially register in the Kyrgyz Republic (voluntary / compulsory patent, PE, certificate, LLC, etc.);
• Having a business development plan or business experience;
• The willingness of the applicant to regularly submit financial and descriptive reports (based on a standard format) on the implementation of recommendations and business development.
• Innovation of the proposed project

*Particular priority will be given to business projects initiated by girls, young women, and people with disabilities (PWD)

The aim of the project is to expand the economic opportunities of youth.

Project Duration:
Since 2018 - annually.

The program is being implemented as part of the Youth for Peaceful Development project, UNDP UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic, with financial support from the Embassy of Japan.
