The development strategy of the Institute for Youth Development, 2014-2017.
Since June 2014 the Institute for Youth Development started to implement the Strategic Plan for 2014-2017. The four-year strategy covers areas such as: standardization of work with young people, creating the conditions for self-realization of young people in the community, improving the capacity of young leaders, experts on youth affairs of the state and municipal authorities, assistance in improving youth policy and increasing the capacity of youth NGOs. Also one of the strategic directions of the Institute is the study and analysis of youth, youth and environment policy. Through its activities, the Institute seeks to fill gaps in the study of youth.

The Institute in 2012 opened and oversees the branches of the National Youth Resource Center in Talas, Naryn and Balykchy with headquarters in Bishkek.
Resource Centers’ Activities
In its work the Institute remains true to its mission and values and will continue to contribute to the development of youth policy in Kyrgyzstan. In 2014 the Institute has worked on programs and projects that were aimed at standardizing the work with young people, improvment the youth policy, the development of new methods of working with young people at the national, regional and local level.
